About the event
Science has shown that when humans offer their hearts to horses, their heartbeats synchronize. You develop a close and intimate connection with the horse based on trust and respect. Horses are confidence builders, they are teachers of basic life skills and they lift us up no matter the challenges we face in life.
Equine-assisted learning is proven to help people with their health and wellness. No prior experience with horses or art is required.
Our workshops are led by certified and experienced equine-assisted learning facilitators at Rush Ranch, a historic 2070-acre nature preserve, thanks to the generosity of our community partners The Solano Land Trust and Access Adventure.
Julie Bridge is the Founder of Mearas and a lifelong equestrian. She understands the power of the horse/human relationship, and the profound realizations people achieve through working with these majestic beings.
